Does anyone know of any lakes or rivers in Colorado or New Mexico that have wind that picks up everyday like in the Gorge. I know there are not many places in the world like the Gorge...
I usually only sail a 6.0 or smaller on a shortboard. Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks, Jimmie

Here's an idea....maybe I'm crazy.....but how about a bigger rig??? You're missin a lot of days by not having a lil' bigger rig. Shoot, 6.0 is small for me!

I'm in southern NM, and in the summer maybe wind gets to 15 mph in late afternoon. I just bought an 8.5 race and its a blast in light wind. When the wind picks up bring out the small stuff. My next sail will be a 10. Come on down, lets sail and hang..................

Might I suggest you go to Squamish which is located in Canada (it's still kinda near Mexico.. I think..) The wind's usally at force 3 and higher...
:P
Gosh. That doesn't even answer your question!
